October — Islamic History Month Canada Make it YOUR month!

1. Read a book from our recommended list and email us your review; your work may be selected for publication.
2. Organize a local lecture or presentation event in your city; you can select your guest celebrity or expert from IHMC’s list of recommended speakers; send in a feature article or report on your event.
3. Show a movie at your neighborhood school or community centre; select from our list of recommended films; write reviews or ratings of films that you feel make a difference.
4. Ask book retailers in your area to devote a display section to relevant titles for “Islamic History Month Canada” during October.
5. Request local libraries to feature a section of books on Islamic History.
